​1. Services Provided
Pulse for the People offers certified CPR, First Aid, and health-related educational services to individuals, groups, and organizations. Services may be delivered in person or online and may include American Heart Association (AHA) approved certification.
2. Eligibility
To register for a class or participate in services, you must:

Be at least 16 years old (unless otherwise noted for youth classes)

Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract

Agree to provide accurate information when registering
3. Booking and Payments

A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your class date.

Full payment must be made before or on the day of the scheduled class unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Prices are listed per person unless a group rate is arranged.

Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, cash, or digital platforms (e.g., PayPal, Cash App, etc.).
4. Cancellations and Refunds

Deposits are non-refundable.

No refunds will be issued for students who are paid for but do not attend. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure every registered and paid participant is in attendance.

Cancellations made by the client less than 72 hours before the class may result in forfeiture of the full payment.

If Pulse for the People cancels or reschedules a class, clients will be offered a full refund or alternative class date.
5. Attendance and Participation

Participants must attend the full course and demonstrate required skills to receive certification.

Any disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in dismissal from the class without a refund.

For certification classes, participants must meet the American Heart Association's requirements.
6. Travel and On-Site Classes

Travel fees may apply for on-site classes held outside of the Grand Rapids, MI area.

Clients must provide a suitable training space, access to power, and a screen/TV/projector if requested.
7. Health and Safety

Participants are encouraged to inform instructors of any physical limitations before class.

Pulse for the People is not liable for injuries sustained due to failure to disclose health issues or improper participation.
8. Intellectual Property
All materials provided by Pulse for the People, including manuals, videos, logos, and branding, are the intellectual property of Pulse for the People or licensed content. They may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission.
9. Privacy Policy
Your personal information is collected only for booking, communication, and certification purposes. Please refer to our full Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.
10. Limitation of Liability
Pulse for the People shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages, including but not limited to injury, loss of income, or incidental damages related to participation in our classes or use of our services.
11. Modifications
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will become effective immediately.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
